This beautiful hair clip has never been worn aside from an initial try-on after purchase. I bought it for my upcoming wedding, but decided to wear my hair differently than I originally planned. It comes in a lined wooden box with original tags, in mint condition. There is zero damage, wear, etc - it could've been returned except that I kept it too long! I bought it back in March.
It is 14K gold plated, with pliable little 'branches' you can arrange to fit your style. The white ribbons sit exactly as shown and don't flop or lay funny. It clips into your hair with a gold-colored metal 'beak' style clip, and sits very securely. It looks great worn like the model, nestled in an updo, or worn vertically on the side of the head like a barrette. It's substantial but not too heavy, a really special and beautiful piece. Would be a great item to pass on if you wanted to make it an heirloom!
