I purchased this beautiful dress for $575 from a vintage store in Chicago and then decided I'd like to go less formal for my backyard wedding...and the shop doesn't take returns.
Vintage from the 1950s. Exquisite, royal-wedding worthy bridal gown, this delicate beauty has a satin base in a matte, peachy beige tone and is overlaid with embroidered white lace. Top is capped sleeve, with a sweetheart neckline trimmed in lace. Torso is boned and fitted, with a basque waist giving way to a voluminous skirt in sheer, white mesh embroidered with a delicate cascade of flowers. Closure is a zipper down the center of the back, hidden by a row of buttons.
