I got this dress custom-made in Istanbul, Turkey by an independent seamstress there, and so the dress design wasn't by a popular retail brand.
The dress is made of a very sturdy material, and so it does not require any steaming. That also means its very heavy!
The back of the dress is secured using a thin string ribbon, which doesn't only give it a vintage look, but also can be adjusted to fit a range of sizes below and higher than size 4. So if you gained an extra couple of pounds during quarantine, it will still fit!
I also got many compliments on the color of the dress, which was an off-white champagne color. The shiny beaded pattern and glitter on the dress are ivory-colored, which contrasts nicely against the champagne background.
